For the third year running, Viper Recordings are teaming up with powerhouse American brands Bassrush/Insomniac to bring you Bassrush 3.0, a massive compilation album celebrating the very best of drum & bass music featuring the hottest D&B talent from North America and beyond, once again bringing you an unmissable selection. Following the first two samplers, Des McMahon and Heist & Spaow deliver the final teaser of the release with ‘Pixelated’ and ‘Black Knight’. 

‘Pixelated’ comes from LA-based producer Des McMahon, who is no stranger to Viper nor Bassrush, and is yet another strong indicator of the growing amount of impeccable drum & bass coming from the other side of the world. A minimal track that impressively manages to still pack in the energy, ‘Pixelated’ combines gritty sound design with a playful arrangement for a track that puts a fresh spin on old school vibes.

The flip side of the final sampler is a collaboration between London based Heist and Belgium based Spaow, ‘Black Knight’. The track has been destroying dancefloors left and right since the beginning of the year, and it’s no surprise considering the two artists involved have been responsible for some of the biggest jump-up tunes in the game, including Heist’s ‘Moose Knuckle’ and Spaow’s recent collaboration with Macky Gee, ‘Skankin’’ – ‘Black Knight’ is a continuation of the quality club music from these two artists.

Once more representing the incredible diversity and talent of drum & bass across the globe, and celebrating the growing scenes on either side, this final sampler for Bassrush 3.0 is nothing short of exceptional.
